Richard Sharp
About Richard Sharp
Richard Sharp grew up in the Kansas City area where he was the oldest of four children. He was raised by his parents to appreciate the values of family, compassion for others, education, and hard work. He works to use these values in work for his clients and to teach them to his son and daughter.
Richard is a double-graduate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC), where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration. Before becoming an attorney, he worked professionally in higher education, serving for over 10 years at Purdue University and the University of Cincinnati, where he specialized in student conduct.
Richard attended the Donald P. Klekamp College of Law at the University of Cincinnati. While attending law school, he worked full-time, served on Law Review, and welcomed his first child with his wife. Shortly after graduating, they welcomed their daughter.
As an attorney, Richard brings his background as an educator into every client relationship. He believes people deserve to understand the legal process, not be overwhelmed by it. Richard uses a client-focused approach and seeks to understand the whole person, rather than just their decisions. His goal is to provide knowledgeable, compassionate representation while helping clients feel informed and confident throughout their case.
